X-Files 2 Gets a Teaser Trailer and a Release Date
July 25, 2008. Mark it on your calendar, because that’s the release date for the new X-Files movie. Apparently, at the recent WonderCon, people who sat in on a Q&A session with X-Files stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny were treated to a short teaser trailer for the movie, which ended with a release date. So of course, that trailer has now made its way onto the internet in shaky, handicam form. I have no idea what the film is about, but I already know I’ll be there on opening day. Really, I’ll take any new X-Files I can get my grubby paws on.

Death of a cheerleader
Students at West High are mourning cheerleader Alyssa Lopez, killed Tuesday in a traffic crash while she was on her way home after a basketball game at Weber State in Ogden.
Lopez, 17, of Salt Lake City, was a passenger in a vehicle heading south on Harrison Boulevard around 2:15 p.m. after a high school basketball game at the state tournament in Ogden, said Ogden police Lt. David Tarran.
A driver in one car saw Lopez - his girlfriend in the front passenger seat of another car driven by the teenager's ex-boyfriend, police said.

Actress Lara Dutta’s ghost encounter
It is well out of Ramsay Brothers’ plot. Lara Dutta was spooked out of her mind by eerie incidences at a palace where she was staying. Shooting for Ravi Chopra’s film ‘Banda Ye Bindaas Hai’ in Ooty with actor Govinda, Lara was made to stay at a royal palace of a late king of Mysore. However, Lara had a hair raising scary experience at the palace. During her one-day stay at the palace, Lara says she felt a presence in her room. She had a distinct feeling that someone was watching her. To add to it, the fan in Lara’s room began moving. The doors with rusty hinges began opening and shutting with a creaky sound. The lights began to blinker. And to top it all, Lara’s make-up girl suddenly caught high fever. Though she saw no ghost, Lara decided to move out of the palace. She told her producer that she and her staff would happily stay anywhere but at the palace.
